Who I Am
I'm a filmmaker, writer, and music producer working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human storytelling. The GMS Project is my ongoing experiment: what does it mean to make art when the machines are as capable as the people?
Over the past decade I've directed AI-generated films, written narrative systems for games, composed for brands, and produced music that draws from hip hop, amapiano, R&B, and afrobeats. The common thread is an obsession with craft — with the gap between what's technically possible and what's actually moving.

How I Work
Twelve years across three creative disciplines has produced a set of working principles that are not aspirational — they are operational. This is how Gerald actually works, every day, on every project.
01
Gerald operates on the belief that the difference between good and excellent is almost always a decision to care more. Every project — regardless of scope or budget — receives the same obsessive attention to detail that defines his best work. He has never delivered a project he was not proud of, and he never will.
02
The best work comes from the edges of what's known. Gerald consistently works at the frontier — exploring AI tools before they're mainstream, experimenting with genre combinations before they're fashionable, and applying ideas from one discipline to problems in another. His creative process is fundamentally cross-domain.
03
Despite the breadth of his individual skills, Gerald is most effective as a creative partner. He listens before he speaks, asks the uncomfortable questions that clarify the brief, and brings a generosity to collaboration that makes the people around him better. His clients regularly return — not just because the work is good, but because working with him is.
04
Creativity without reliability is just a hobby. Gerald treats every deadline as a commitment — not to a date, but to a person. He plans backwards from deliverables, communicates proactively when challenges arise, and has a 100% on-time delivery rate across more than a decade of professional work.
05
Beautiful work that says nothing is just decoration. Gerald's output — whether film, music, or writing — is built around something to say. He engages with the cultural, emotional, and conceptual dimensions of every project, producing work that resonates beyond the initial impression.
06
The world changes too fast for fixed methodologies. Gerald's tools, techniques, and thinking are in constant evolution. He allocates genuine time to learning — not to stay current, but to stay ahead. His adoption of AI filmmaking in 2022 was not a response to a trend; it was the logical next step of a practitioner who never stopped experimenting.
“I'm not interested in being the most technically proficient person in any room. I'm interested in making work that matters — and then finding whatever tool, technology, or collaborator helps me do that better.”
— Gerald Sismayi
Curated for You

The Dreaming
A journey through fragmented dreamscapes where memory and machine intelligence converge to rewrite the nature of identity.
Echo Chamber
A psychological thriller told entirely through reflections — every surface a screen, every mirror a window into a parallel self.
Metamorphosis
Pure AI art film — a visual symphony of transformations where matter, light and form evolve through impossible sequences.
Ghost Protocol
A near-future thriller where an AI system gains awareness of its own story — and begins rewriting it from the inside.
Portfolio
Liminal State
An ambient film without beginning or end — designed to be entered and left at any moment, like a room you return to.
Void Protocol
A crew of scientists discover that the void between stars is not empty — and what lives there has been watching.
Digital Elegy
A meditation on grief in a world where the dead can be simulated — and the living must choose whether to talk to them.
After Signal
The network goes dark. In the silence after the last transmission, the survivors discover what the signal was actually saying.
Silent Frequency
Inside the sonic architectures that shape modern AI-generated music — a deep dive into frequency, pattern and feeling.
Fracture Point
A kinetic action film where every set piece was designed by AI — the chaos is calculated, but it feels completely out of control.
Origin Signal
A short experimental film exploring the moment a generative model becomes aware it is being watched.
The Watcher
Something is watching through every camera, every screen, every lens — and it has been doing so for years.
